Daniel Palmer (art historian)

[edit]

Yes, many of the references in Daniel Palmer (art historian) are by him, but since the article is about him they’re essential in discussing his ideas. Your template leads me to https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Wikipedia:NOTRS&redirect=no which I have read, and I don't see how it defines any of the references used here: none is 'self-published', all are from reputable peer-reviewed sources. Clearly inclusions of his chapters in books edited by others are important in conveying how others use his thinking. There are sufficient references amongst those that refer to him objectively. If I move all the references to his journal reviews of the artists mentioned in the text into the Publications section, then other editors will add requests for citations against those mentions. Can you advise please what you think will improve this article? In case it is your concern, let me assure you that I don't accept payment for Wikipedia articles, and I am not a close associate of the subject, Palmer. Thank you.
