Hello Grandoldman! Welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions to this free encyclopedia. If you decide that you need help, check out Getting Help below, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and ask your question there. Please remember to sign your name on talk pages by clicking or using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. Welcome to Wikipedia, Grandoldman! I am Stormtracker94 and have been editing Wikipedia for quite some time. I just wanted to say hi and welcome you to Wikipedia! If you have any questions, feel free to leave me a message on my talk page or by typing {{helpme}} at the bottom of this page. I love to help new users, so don't be afraid to leave a message! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:
No problem. I could adopt you if you need any help. I've been here for about 9 months and could answer any questions you would have about Wikipedia. If you think this is a good idea, just leave me a message. STORMTRACKER94 Go Irish!17:06, 20 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Please don't remove comments from talk pages, even your own, as you did at Wikipedia talk:Adopt-a-User, especially if other users have replied to you. By doing so, you make the conversation confusing to those who read replies without seeing the original message. I've restored your message to that page.
Additionally, it's generally considered bad form to clear your talk page unless you archive the messages, since other users may wish to see what has been said in the past, without having to dig through the history to find it. Please remember this, in the future.
A sockpuppet is when a user creates an account and uses it, then uses another account abusively (e.g. vandalism, voting twice in discussions). Any suspected sockpuppet should be reported at the suspected sockpuppets page. Here, users will look over the case and try to see if the alleged sockpuppet is actually one. Then, if the sockpuppet is confirmed, an administrator will indefinitely block the sockpuppet and the account that used it. If you want a very detailed explanation, see WP:SOCKPUPPET. Me and my friend run a school newspaper (well, mostly him): [1](press 1 for a link to the site)
Well, we wrote a really controversial story, so a group of kids that we call the "cabal" threatened us, so we had to shut it down. We are making a new one, so I'll tell you about it in a week or so. STORMTRACKER94 Go Irish!12:57, 4 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
It's just your IP adress. It seems you only forgot to log in. Not to worry, it does not effect you at all. It just means your particular IP address is registered to that company and many users share it. STORMTRACKER94 Go Irish!12:58, 4 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I adopted him, and on his talkpage, I see that he is trying to message to a person named Jordan. Is this another user joining? I will adopt them if you want, too. STORMTRACKER94 Go Irish!21:07, 7 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Greetings. You are receiving this note as you are a member of this WikiProject. Currently there is not much of activity in the project and I am hoping to revive the project with your help. I have made a few changes to the project page Diff. You are welcome to make suggestions of improvement / changes in the design. I have also make a proposal to AutoTagg articles with {{WikiProject Computing}} for the descendant wikiprojects articles also. Please express your opinion here -- TinuCherian (Wanna Talk?) - 12:48, 23 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Because the Signpost hasn't been sent in a while, to save space, I've condensed all seven issues that were not sent into this archive. Only the three issues from November are below.

Hello, you used the {{helpme}} tag but you did not post a question. Please write out your question and when you are done, place back the tag. I or someone else will be along to help. Alternatively, you can join the #wikipedia-en-helpIRC help channel to get real-time assistance. (Click here for instant access).
Use a {{helpme}} - please create a new section at the end of your own talk page, put {{helpme}}, and ask your question - remember to 'sign' your name by putting ~~~~ at the end; OR
