- Thanks, Significa. I'm wondering if you could explain to me a little more clearly why my articles have been rejected. I'm particularly curious about the rejection of my article on Interpretation. If you look at the List of political science journals page, you'll notice that a great many of the entries there have less references and detail than the page I submitted for Interpretation. It seems to me a real loss for Wikipedia to not have an article on Interpretation; it is a major journal in the field of classical political philosophy and Straussian scholarship. Given that classical political theory is not something that gets a lot of traction in the media, finding references to it outside of its own narrow confines is hard to do; however, that has not something that has stopped any number of articles on other, far more minor academic journals being published here on Wikipedia. As a fellow PhD, I am sure you will understand and sympathize when I say that academic arcana like this lends itself to the creation of stubs. But given that this journal is so closely associated with the work of Leo Strauss, who, along with Arendt, Rawls, Schmitt, and Foucault, is among the first tier of political theorists of the past century, I think it is critical to have an article for it that is listed on the List of political science journals page. Thank you for taking the time to read this; I would really appreciate any more specific advice you can give me, both for this and for my article on the Political Science Review, because Straussianism is a major hermeneutical standpoint in political theory and currently Wikipedia is missing articles on two of the three most important Straussian journals.
- Thanks again! GreenLoeb (talk) 23:47, 14 March 2025 (UTC)
