[edit]Hello, I'm JalenFolf. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Duncan Aviation have been undone because they appeared to be promotional. Advertising and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox" are against Wikipedia policy and not permitted; Wikipedia articles should be written objectively, using independent sources, and from a neutral perspective. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you. Jalen Folf (talk) 20:43, 14 August 2023 (UTC)
- In what way was the contribution promotional? I live in Lincoln and Duncan Aviation is a great business here and I thought they deserved their own page. I just barely started writing the content, intending to add to it. If I can edit it to be less promotional then I will. I researched their website as well as other sites that wrote about them to see what services they offer as a business. Does listing what they do as a business count as promotional? Duncan Aviation moved to draftspace
[edit]Thanks for your contributions to Duncan Aviation. Unfortunately, it is not ready for publishing because it needs more sources to establish notability and it is promotional and reads like an advertisement. Your article is now a draft where you can improve it undisturbed for a while.
Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. EggRoll97 (talk) 00:05, 4 October 2023 (UTC)
- Thank you for your note. I am trying to be very neutral when I write the content. I used other similar industry pages as a guide like the Clay Lacy page, and the Jet Aviation page. I did not realize there was a draft mode that could save my changes without having it go live. I will definitely send things for review first. I really appreciate any feedback you can offer on how to make the content less promotional while still stating the facts. 74.51.213.7 (talk) 22:17, 4 October 2023 (UTC)
