Ways to improve Tanya Steel

[edit]

Hello, KDuryea,

Thank you for creating Tanya Steel.

I have tagged the page as having some issues to fix, as a part of our page curation process and note that:

Some of the sources are promotional. This article has the hallmarks of a commissioned work to promote the subject.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, leave a comment here and begin it with {{Re|Kudpung}}. Remember to sign your reply with ~~~~. For broader editing help, please visit the Teahouse.

Delivered via the Page Curation tool, on behalf of the reviewer.

@Kudpung:Thank you so much! I really appreciate the feedback. I tried to link to sources that prove accuracy so I will review them and remove any that look too promotional.~~~~ KDuryea (talk) 04:18, 25 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Are COI disclosures placed on my personal page or the talk porting of any articles I write, or both? I'm just a little confused and don't want to make a mistake. KDuryea (talk) 22:56, 13 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
@KDuryea: Place conflict of interest disclosures on the talk pages of the articles you write. Place the conflict of interest template in the header of the talk page. Use {{Connected contributor}} if you are not paid, or {{Connected contributor (paid)}} if you are being paid to edit Wikipedia. Note that if you are being paid to edit Wikipedia, you must follow Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure. Optionally, you may wish to note the conflicts of interest on your user page. Z. Patterson (talk) 23:02, 13 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you very much! Does the COI for a paid contributor the correct disclosure for all COI disclosures? In my case I am not a paid contributor but do have a connection to the subject. KDuryea (talk) 23:13, 13 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
@KDuryea: You would use Template:Connected contributor at the top of Talk:Tanya Steel. You are not a paid contributor. Z. Patterson (talk) 23:35, 13 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
