Welcome! I hope you decide to stay and contribute. Here are a few links to pages you might find helpful:

You can also activate the "Newcomer home page" by navigating to Special:Preferences and ticking the box for "Display newcomer homepage", which when these changes are saved will place a new tab alongside your User Page with useful further information. It will assign a mentor to you but for general questions the WP:Teahouse is a good place to ask, or you can seek out my own Talk Page. Regards. Mike Turnbull (talk) 12:50, 16 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Edit on Greater Poland Uprising

[edit]

Hi, I saw you edited the casualties in the conflict infobox, could I have a source for the number you provided please? Thanks in advance. Astralium1 (talk) 00:52, 17 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I did not change the actual number. I just changed it from saying “6 thousand” to “6,000” to fit the usual format for combat infoboxes. Thanks. LessHuman (talk) 14:06, 18 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

SPI notification

[edit]

Greetings! I noticed a point of convergence between edits by you and a blocked user. I opened a discussion about it and didn't want to leave you out. Any helpful feedback there is welcome. If this is indeed an effort to return from a block, I hope you'll consider appealing it instead. If it's a coincidence, I hope you'll discuss it in the current SPI forum. Cheers! Hi, how do I add a comment? I don’t see how to. I think I live in the same area as that account based on the things I can see of it. I am into politics, and I searched a few politicians from my area and found that draft. I haven’t made many other edits on Wikipedia, so that’s really all. But if you can tell me how to add a comment that would be great!! LessHuman (talk) 16:07, 25 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Update: Nevermind, I just replied to your message. Thanks. LessHuman (talk) 17:01, 25 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked as a sockpuppet

[edit]
Wikipedia's technical logs indicate that this user account has been or may be used abusively as a sockpuppet of User:Antny08 per the evidence presented at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Antny08. It has been blocked indefinitely from editing to prevent abuse.

Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted.
If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you should review the guide to appealing blocks, and then appeal your block by adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|Your reason here ~~~~}}. Note that anything you post in your unblock request will be public, so you may alternatively use the Unblock Ticket Request System to submit an appeal if it contains information that must be private.

Administrators: Checkusers have access to confidential system logs not accessible by the public or by administrators due to the Wikimedia Foundation's privacy policy. You must not loosen or remove this block, or issue an IP block exemption, without consulting with a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee. Administrators who undo checkuser blocks without permission from a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee may be summarily desysopped.

Request reason:

I am not even sure how this came up or how I was blocked... I have nothing to do with any other account that was previously banned. As explained, my edits are likely due to shared interests and relative location between me and the other user. There is no evidence that I am another account because, well, I am not! I just came on Wikipedia to inform myself on topics for school. I'm still very confused about all of this. It also says that my account is undistinguishable from an account I never heard of, which seems to have made content about cheerleading, which in no way relates to any of my edits. The fact that multiple people are being dragged down with this other person falsely makes no sense to me. I am not very active on Wikipedia and have not caused any harm here. Just because my account might be in the same area as another account does not mean that I am that person. There are millions of accounts on Wikipedia, you cannot assume every person is an alt. LessHuman (talk) 19:53, 3 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

I have independently reviewed the technical evidence, and you certainly appear to be the same person as Amber Solace. Your denial does not outweigh the technical evidence. I am declining your unblock request. PhilKnight (talk) 20:09, 3 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Request reason:

I am NOT any other person on Wikipedia. I am myself, my own person. To accuse me of being somebody else who I have never even heard of is insane. Check the information again, I am not anybody else on Wikipedia.

Decline reason:

The two accounts are  Technically indistinguishable. Yamla (talk) 20:44, 3 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
