Pink Suit tone tag

[edit]

Hi Lililolol, could you please list on the Talk page occasions/paras where the tone is not encyclopedic, then they can be addressed and the tag removed? Thanks. Ericoides (talk) 18:30, 11 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Team Titans?

[edit]

Hi, I've noticed that you erased the Team Titans article (edit). The deletion of this article was at least debated or discussed, or you decided it arbitrarily? Fma12 (talk) 20:26, 2 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Fma12 Hi, I didn’t "erase" the content; I simply redirected it to a more appropriate article, which is the list of Teen Titans comics. This decision wasn't arbitrary; I acted boldly because the original Teem Titans article didn't meet notability guidelines like WP:FICT or WP:BK. Lililolol (talk) 20:40, 2 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I don’t think the redirect needed to be discussed beforehand, but if you disagree, feel free to improve the article to meet the guidelines. Once it meets them, you can revert my edit and add the improved content. Lililolol (talk) 20:43, 2 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Well, but I think it should have been discussed first. In fact, WP:be bold states "Although the boldness of contributors like you is one of Wikipedia's greatest assets, it is important that you take care of the common good and not edit disruptively or recklessly". I'll find out. Thanks, Fma12 (talk) 20:46, 2 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit(s) you made to X-Men '97, did not appear to be constructive and have been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use your sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Clear reasoning has been given for why your edits were reverted, do not start an edit war. Please follow WP:BRD and take your concerns to the talk page. adamstom97 (talk) 18:48, 10 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Adamstom.97 Hi, I do think my edits are organized. The lead section is better to ensure clearer flow and coverage of all important elements, making sure nothing feels out of place. Plus, I moved the viewership information into the release section, as it makes navigation easier and connects the two topics better. So Lililolol (talk) 18:54, 10 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
There is a standard layout and format for all MCU TV shows which applies to X-Men '97. If you wish to make a change to that you must establish consensus for your changes at the talk page. - adamstom97 (talk) 20:03, 10 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Adamstom.97 Hi, is the "standard layout and format for all MCU TV" an essay or a policy? Could you direct me to it? Lililolol (talk) 21:13, 10 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
There are some details at WP:MCU, but for the most part I am talking about consensus that has formed across many articles and discussions. - adamstom97 (talk) 06:23, 11 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Information icon Hi Lililolol! I noticed that you have reverted to restore your preferred version of Apt. (song) several times. The impulse to undo an edit you disagree with is understandable, but I wanted to make sure you're aware that the edit warring policy disallows repeated reversions even if they are justifiable.

All editors are expected to discuss content disputes on article talk pages to try to reach consensus. If you are unable to agree at Talk:Apt. (song), please use one of the dispute resolution options to seek input from others. Using this approach instead of reverting can help you avoid getting drawn into an edit war. Thank you. RachelTensions (talk) 21:14, 28 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, your revisions are unjustified, stop your malicious behavior. Gloern (talk) 18:37, 30 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Gloern Lol "malicious" what?? Lililolol (talk) 18:39, 30 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
It is valid to remove predictive expressions as they are not in keeping with Neutral Point of View as is required on this site. Gloern (talk) 18:41, 30 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Gloern Hi, you removed the entire source, leaving the section unsourced! Like you should only remove the "prediction" instead of the whole source. Lililolol (talk) 18:48, 30 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Then why do a revert twice? The better solution was to reinsert the source reference alone, thus what you did could be considered as malicious behavior. Gloern (talk) 18:54, 30 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Gloern Yeh, sorry about that. Re-inserting the source reference seems like too much work, so it’s better to just revert it and remove some parts instead. Lililolol (talk) 18:58, 30 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Better source request for File:Twice – One Spark.webp

[edit]

Thanks for your upload to Wikipedia:

You provided a source, but it is difficult for other users to examine the copyright status of the image because the source is incomplete or generic. Please consider clarifying the exact source so that the copyright status may be checked more easily. It is best to specify the exact source (such as the web page, or printed document) where you found the image, rather than only giving the source domain, search engine, pinboard, aggregator, or the direct/bare URL of the image file itself. Please update the image description with a URL that will be more helpful to other users in determining the copyright status.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source in a complete manner. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. If you have any questions please ask them at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you. — Ирука13 04:28, 15 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2024 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:51, 19 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Just a note.

[edit]

A ballad nor sentimental ballad is not a music genre it accompanies genres and so I would discourage adding it in the Genre box article of any music article. It is more so a style eg. Like a pop ballad. The genre would be pop, similar to at Number One Girl, where the music genre would be pop punk. I just wanted to clarify because I don't like edit warring and it also makes the article less likely to even move to B status and I just don't see why not clarify it rather than do that. If you have any arguments over a ballad being a genre then I'd prefer you tell me here or even at the article's talk page before making any changes. That's all, bye. This0k (talk) 19:32, 5 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@This0k Hi, sorry I didn’t realize that “ballad” or “sentimental ballad” aren’t music genres، thanks for pointing that out. I also removed “Soft Rock” as a genre based on a policy I read (but can’t find now) stating that if a source doesn’t explicitly label a song as a certain genre, it can’t be classified as such. For example, Clash didn’t label the song as “Soft Rock,” but Rolling Stone did call it “Pop Rock. Lililolol (talk) 18:15, 6 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I'm glad you responded to me as I wanted to ask if at APT (song) the songwriters and composers can be separated. I know this seems like a long time coming but if you could do this it would be great as the amount of songwriters there is bulky and in those cases i feel like it's best to separate but you tell me if you think just leave as is is preferred. The reason why I'm asking this is because many say that it just Rosé and Bruno Mars who wrote the song but who knows this could be completely false if it is then please let me know. This0k (talk) 20:28, 6 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@This0k I think that's false. In the CD liner notes, they were credited as songwriters rather than as lyricists and composers. Lililolol (talk) 17:37, 7 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Warning icon Please stop. If you continue to add unsourced or poorly sourced content, as you did at Dahyun, you may be blocked from editing. You are missing the point: secondary sourcing doesn't just verify, it also establishes whether information is worth including in the first place. Drmies (talk) 02:00, 9 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Drmies How is it poorly sourced? Isn't KMCA a good source? Also, Dahyun isn't the only K-pop page that includes songwriting in its discography section; why aren't you removing the others that use the KMCA source as well? What's the problem with KMCA as a source tho? Lililolol (talk) 02:45, 9 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Drmies Also, it seems that you're threatening me with a block before starting a conversation about war edits. Like what? Lililolol (talk) 02:47, 9 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
It is not a secondary source. See Secondary source. I apologize for not fixing every single article on Wikipedia over the weekend. Drmies (talk) 13:25, 9 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

January 2025 Edit summaries

[edit]

Information icon Hi Lililolol. I'm Quaerens-veritatem. Thank you for your edits of Gal Gadot. When I saw the page history showing your edits, I didn't see edit summaries. I know you're an experienced editor and I don't mean to be condescending or ignorant of WP:DTR but, per WP:TR, I encourage you – please provide a summary of every edit you make. Also, see your talk page request for summaries by @RachelTensions: 11 December 2024. Of course, the summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history and the summaries help other editors by (a) providing a reason for the edit, (b) saving the time to open up the edit to find out what it's all about, and (c) providing information about the edit on diff pages and lists of changes (such as page histories and watchlists). In case you were unaware, the edit summary content is visible in:

Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit and a summary of what the edit changes. You can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → Tick Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary. As you likely know, if the edit is minor, the "This is a minor edit" box can be checked, and a good rule of thumb is that only edits consisting solely of spelling corrections, formatting changes, or rearrangement of text without modification of the content may be flagged as minor edits. Many who are ignorant of the Wikipedia policy on edit summaries fail to add them. Some ignore this basic brief task; however, failure seems inconsiderate specially since summaries are so easy to add. According to Wikipedia's consensus policy, all edits should be explained, either by clear edit summaries, or by discussion on the associated talk page. Thank you for your attention and in advance for your compliance with our consensus policy . Kind regards, Quaerens-veritatem (talk) 00:36, 8 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello Lililolol. Please respond to the above request and regarding the earlier one. See, WP:LISTENTOUS. As you may know, failure to communicate may lead to being blocked from editing. Thank you. Quaerens-veritatem (talk) 05:43, 9 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
@Quaerens-veritatem Honestly, I don't leave an edit summary because I’m not sure what to write, especially when adding a lot of info. By clicking review, you can see that my edits aren't disturbing or problematic, so I don't see the need to write a summary. Lililolol (talk) 19:00, 10 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Well Lililolol, Wikipedia's consensus policy, is that all edits should be explained, either by clear edit summaries, or by discussion on the associated talk page. I trust you will abide by Wikipedia's policy.
First, to help you here are some abbreviations you can use:
alpha = put this list in alphabetical order
rm = remove
+ = added or rephrased a longer bit of text
cap or caps = fixed capitalization
c/e = copy edit: cap, format, punc, style (e.g. "due to the fact that" for "because",
"ascertain the location of" for "find"), sp, contractions should be spelled out, put
in External links or Further reading, confused words (its and it's; there, their, and
they're; your, you're, and you; lose and loose; lie and lay)
cl = 'tidying-up' edits, many different kinds of small changes in a single edit, spelling and grammar fixes
cr = correction = made one or more copy editing corrections.
del = deletion
disambig = Removal of ambiguity-disambiguation of a link
EL = add or del external link
fm = format fix (might add ‘per WP:MOS’)
ft = added or rephrased the following brief bit of full text.
gm = grammar fix
head or h2, h3, h4, h5, h6 = use ‘head cap’, incorrectly laid out with "head3" ("h3")
header (i.e., === text ===) instead of "head2" ("h2") (i.e., == text ==)
mv = moved one or more portions of article to another location in the same article.
nn = not noteworthy text (rmv nn)
punc = rectify punctuation
rd = add article redirect to another article
ref, refs = added or fixed one or more source citations
WP:RS = reliable source as in: not WP:RS or + WP:RS
reorg = changed the order of sections or otherwise altered the organization (as opposed to the text) of the page
rmv = remove - removed some text from the article.
rv = revert (vandalism?)
see Talk = explained on Talk page
sp = fix spelling
tweaks = one or more minor copyediting changes.
typo = typographical error
Second, it's quite simple. Just briefly write what you did. Using your edits, for example, for this edit write "+ ref" or "+ WP:RS", for this edit can write "+ content re: Wonder Woman earnings", for this edit tap the "This is a minor edit" box (see my above, initial "January 2025 Edit summaries" about use of this box) and put "+ ref name", for this edit write "del unnecessary refs", for this edit can write "+ photo & + content re: President Reuven Rivlin invitation", for this edit can write "+ content: Australian Jewish News article", for this edit write "+ photo & content re: the world's most famous Israeli", for this edit can write "c/e", for this edit you could write, "c/e, rmv names of critics Noah Berlatsky, Tamar Hermann & Arielle Iniko Newton, del Hermann reflection."
I hope this helps.
Information icon By the way, your ref named ":2" was defined multiple times with different content (see References section-reference 28.) - please correct. Quaerens-veritatem (talk) 00:37, 12 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
