Speedy deletion nomination of Skardu (disambuguation)
[edit]
A tag has been placed on Skardu (disambuguation) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section R3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a recently created redirect from an implausible typo or misnomer, or other unlikely search term.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Hello. You're invited to participate in The World Destubathon. We're aiming to destub a lot of articles and also improve longer stale articles. It will be held from Monday June 16 - Sunday July 13. There is $3338 going into it, with $500 the top prize. If you are interested in winning something to help you buy books for future content, or just see it as a good editathon opportunity to see a lot of articles improved for your country/region, sign up on the page in the participants section if interested.♦ Dr. Blofeld 17:06, 1 June 2025 (UTC)
Inform
[edit]Sir it is to inform you that population ranking was not established in 2023 census. Ticktokker (talk) 18:24, 2 June 2025 (UTC)
- Ticktokker, what you were inserting in the lead was not the census file, go to the link again and see. The article already has citation for the census in the infobox and demographics section. In response to your text here, see the key findings report of the 2023 census at page 59 which lists 22 cities above the population figure of 0.5 million.[1] Also please refrain from making any disruption in the article by using misleading edit summary while editing, as you did there a month ago. Thanks. MŠLQr (talk) 18:46, 2 June 2025 (UTC)
- Then also correct other cities articles e.g Peshawer Ticktokker (talk) 20:16, 2 June 2025 (UTC)
- User 'Sutyarashi' is alleging me as sockpuppet. Please take notice Ticktokker (talk) 15:59, 3 June 2025 (UTC)

Hi MSLQr, just to inform you — since you seem to have been spending quite some time cleaning up their mess — User:Ticktokker is a sock with a long history of disruption at the main article on Multan. I would suggest reporting them at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Vintage 1234 rather than wasting more time replying to them. I would have done it myself, but I’ve been quite busy with real life lately.
Also, I’d appreciate it if you could keep an eye on the Multan article and related pages, as they’re likely to come back. Sutyarashi (talk) 07:22, 3 June 2025 (UTC)
- Also they are responsible for the POV driven disruption at the article. I have cleaned their mess several times in past too. Sutyarashi (talk) 07:25, 3 June 2025 (UTC)
- Sutyarashi, I've added the page to my watchlist. I'm also having busy days in my life. Yes, I noticed some socks from the page history, don't have time to check them more carefully, will file a report at SPI if I could find time for it. I also admire your past efforts for copyediting and improving the lead and history section. I will also revert a few other disruptive edits from the page history. I would want to see citations from scholarly works on history-related content (maybe we can reuse some citations from section history in place of that govt.site and Yahya Amjad site – dont think if they are a reliable/credible author) in the lead but don't have time now or this week. If you could find time to improve the lead, please do so. MŠLQr (talk) 07:58, 3 June 2025 (UTC)
- Sutyarashi is himself a sockpuppet. Ticktokker (talk) 15:55, 3 June 2025 (UTC)
- Aftab Iqbal your city is Lahore. Then why are you every time concerned about article on Multan. Ticktokker (talk) 16:01, 3 June 2025 (UTC)
