Chronicles
[edit]Good correction on Peterborough Chronicle. Some attempted to go from the beginning of the world, others from the Incarnation, etc. What I had been trying to suggest with the sentence was that the Chronicles began by using synopses of history before then going into the eye witnessed histories that we usually associate with a "chronicle." Lanval
[edit]Thanks for your excellent and much appreciated work at Lanval. I did some edits, mostly for style, so please take a look to make sure I didn't miss or alter anything important.--Cúchullain t/c 04:09, 2 January 2007 (UTC)
Ring around the Rosey
[edit]I really liked your input at the page. Please don't take my attempt to rewrite as a refutation of your efforts, I liked the changes that you made and apprecaited the research you made. The Opie does not appear to posit to suggest the plague is the interpretation, rather he seems just to note it. That essay also was talking about the murkey origins. Although I appreciate the urge to keep things balanced and open-ended, the contextual proof in this case is very very weak for a more literal interpretation. I think increasing the article to talk about the passion the interpretation inspires in people would certainly be on topic. Anyway, thank you for your help and I hope none of rerply seemed snippy. Tone is hard to convey on here and I truly think you are fair minded and appreciate your contribution. leontes 03:13, 7 January 2007 (UTC)

History of europe
[edit]Hello Martin, yes maybe the intro could be a little less crap (that's the irony I'm guessing?!). I mean, just fiddle around with it if you think that you've got a bit more linguistic flair (and I'm sure you do). Looking back at the old one though, really, the last three out of four paragraphs were all from the 18th century on. It was a bit weighted, which I suppose is why I just thought I'd get rid of the lot and restart. All the same information I believe is there as before, isn't it? As for the section headings, the way I came up with them is that I made them up, of course! Don't you like them? "War and peace" isn't that bad is it? It pretty accurately describes the twentieth century (the first half was quite a lot of war, the second half quite a lot peace!) even if it is ripping Tolstoy off. What really matters of course is that the blanks be filled!! I think I've improved the article at least a bit. Wikidea 18:33, 29 December 2007 (UTC)
Jay Dee Music
[edit]A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Jay Dee Music, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. If you agree with the deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please add {{db-author}}
to the top of Jay Dee Music. B. Wolterding (talk) 14:05, 7 April 2008 (UTC)

Europe 10,000 Challenge invite
[edit]Hi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Europe/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like Germany, Italy, the Benelux countries, Iberian Peninsula, Romania, Slovenia etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. If you would like to see masses of articles being improved for Europe and your specialist country like Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon, sign up today and once the challenge starts a contest can be organized. This is a way we can target every country of Europe, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia. We need numbers to make this work so consider signing up as a participant and also sign under any country sub challenge on the page that you might contribute to! Thank you. --Ser Amantio di NicolaoChe dicono a Signa?Lo dicono a Signa. 10:05, 6 November 2016 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for April 16
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Desktop publishing, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page EPS (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver).
