Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Harborfields High School may have broken the syntax by modifying 2 "{}"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

List of unpaired brackets remaining on the page:

Information icon Hello. Your recent edit to Harborfields High School appears to have added a non-notable entity to a list that normally includes only notable entries. In general, a person, organization or product added to a list should have a pre-existing article before being added to most lists. If you wish to create such an article, please first confirm that the subject qualifies for a separate, stand-alone article according to Wikipedia's notability guideline. Thank you. Meters (talk) 03:43, 29 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop. It's a really bad idea to attempt to add yourself to a list of notables. And see WP:WTAF. This is not the first time you have attempted to add yourself, and this is not the first time the issue of alumni entries without English Wikipedia articles has been explained to you. Note that if an article is written about you, you should not be the one to write it. See WP:COI. Meters (talk) 03:49, 29 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I did not write any of the articles about me. I ref to Aiken Standard . I refer to US Polo Assn. I refer to the video from Turk Caicos News. I Have ref to the Morning line http://themorningline.com/120503thurs.3.pdf
I am the ONLY person from Harborfields (class of 84) To be a polo professional. Certainly more unique than a guitar player.
So I am once again (years later) ASKING FOR HELP! How do I get an wiki article written ? Can I get a fivver to do it ? How ? Stop just saying no Polodude10 (talk) 04:31, 29 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I didn't say you wrote any of the article about yourself. I said that you should not write a Wikipedia article about yourself. Meters (talk) 04:39, 29 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Then PLEASE tell me how to be added as a "notable" ? Do I have to have a personal wiki page ?
Do you dispute that I belong as a notable ? And if not, then you should want to help. Polodude10 (talk) 04:48, 29 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
(ec)Notability has nothing to do with uniqueness. It is completely irrelevant that you may be the only professional polo player to have attended your high school. What would be relevant would be in-depth, independent, reliable sources about you. Not your personal web page, not someone's facebook page, not a commercial site's bio, and not just passing mentions such as the ones in the themorningline link above.
See my reply below.Meters (talk) 04:52, 29 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
For the purposes of being listed under notable alumni for a school, this means people who have Wikipedia articles about them. The listing should not be added as an external link. For there to be a Wikipedia article about you, you would have to meet notability guideline at Wikipedia:Notability (people). For a TL:DR see the general notability guideline. I'll also add that you should not try to write an article about yourself, nor should you hire someone to do so. TornadoLGS (talk) 04:56, 29 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Harborfields High School. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you. Meters (talk) 04:37, 29 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Again I have asked for help . And you just "Note" me Do you dispute my facts ? Polodude10 (talk) 04:40, 29 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
(ec) I'm not disputing anything you have claimed (other than your declaration that you overwhelming qualify as a "Notable". I don't doubt that you are a polo player or that you attended the high school. I'm not interested in writing an article about you. You have had an account on Wikipedia for more than decade, and it appears that your only interest in Wikipedia is to get your name mentioned. If that's true then you should probably just drop your account. Meters (talk) 04:52, 29 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hi Polodude10! I noticed that you have reverted to restore your preferred version of Harborfields High School several times. The impulse to undo an edit you disagree with is understandable, but I wanted to make sure you're aware that the edit warring policy disallows repeated reversions even if they are justifiable.

All editors are expected to discuss content disputes on article talk pages to try to reach consensus. If you are unable to agree at Talk:Harborfields High School, please use one of the dispute resolution options to seek input from others. Using this approach instead of reverting can help you avoid getting drawn into an edit war. Thank you. Meters (talk) 04:59, 29 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

If you keep this up you will likely end up blocked. Meters (talk) 05:00, 29 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
