The image File:Flag of the Commonwealth of Nations.jpg is a copyright image as such there has to be a fair use rational for each and every use, the removal was not vandalism. I recommend that you familiarise yourself with WP's fair use rules before adding any more images to pages and understand what is or is not vandalism before you make any more accusations. I'm sorry, LGA, but that just doesn't make sense to me. I kind of get it, but still: how is showing the Commonwealth flag on a page showing flags of supranational organisations in Europe not fair use? What am I missing? (I did consult the fair use rules, but it was not really helpful. There must be a simple (and hopefully convincing) way to put what the problem with this flag really is. What makes this flag so special that it should stand out (by not being shown) among all other flags? Why? Qaz Janssen (talk) 14:10, 29 May 2014 (UTC)
- The issue is that the Commonwealth flag is the organisations copyright protected logo and WP:NFG sets out the guidance on using copyright material in tables. LGA talkedits 21:52, 29 May 2014 (UTC)
- Ok, thank you, LGA. I think I get it (although I still think it's pretty inconvenient, but it seems that that's just the way things are\). I will refrain from trying to put these (or things copyrighted like it) up. Also, I sincerely apologize if I caused you inconvenience by mentioning the v-word. I did not intend to do that: I was just really astonished with all this. Qaz Janssen (talk) 03:38, 1 June 2014 (UTC)
