  • Each article review will earn 1 point, while each redirect review will earn 0.2 points.
  • Streak awards will be given out based on consistently hitting point thresholds for each week of the drive.
  • Barnstars will also be granted for re-reviewing articles previously reviewed by other patrollers during the drive.

  • a disambiguation page that lists zero extant Wikipedia pages, regardless of its title; or
  • a redirect with a title ending in "(disambiguation)" whose target is neither a disambiguation page nor page that has a disambiguation-like function.

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such pages may be deleted at any time. Please see the disambiguation page guidelines for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and removing the speedy deletion tag. Shhhnotsoloud (talk) 14:20, 23 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Request: Support for Page Update

[edit]

Hello Rowd,

I work for a PR consultancy called Kekst CNC, which works on behalf of SUSE. We are committed to being a member of the Wikipedia community after signing the official agency/Wikipedia agreement, which can be found here (Wikipedia:Statement on Wikipedia from participating communications firms). This means that we are adhering to the guidelines, and most importantly, that we know we have a COI, which means that we are letting the members of the Wikipedia community decide whether or not to make changes for us.

We hope that you could support us with some factual amendments for the SUSE S.A. Wikipedia Page (SUSE S.A.).

The full request is posted on the SUSE Talk page as well, but for ease, this is what we are requesting:

1. updating the revenue from 450,000,000 USD (2020) to $700m+ (2022)

2. updating the number of employees from 2,300 (2023) to 2,500 (2025)

3. adjusting the descriptive change of Linux to explain the product range of Linux from: "SUSE S.A. (/ˈsuːsə, ˈsuːzə/ SOO-sə, SOO-zə, German: [ˈzuːzə]) is a German multinational open-source software company that develops and sells Linux products to business customers." to "SUSE S.A. (/ˈsuːsə, ˈsuːzə/ SOO-sə, SOO-zə, German: [ˈzuːzə]) is a German multinational open-source software company that develops and sells Linux, cloud-native, and edge computing products to business customers."

4. Further, we suggest adding a brief paragraph on the Rancher Labs & Neu Vector acquisitions, including the focus areas of SUSE to give more depth to the introduction. We suggest the following paragraph to be added after the first introductory sentences:

"With the acquisition of Rancher Labs in 2020 and NeuVector in 2021, SUSE also offers cloud-native infrastructure and container management offerings to enterprises. SUSE's primary focuses are on four key areas: providing Enterprise Linux and Multi-Linux support, advancing Clould Native technologies, delivering Edge Computing Solutions, and SUSE AI.

SUSE's operating system technology supports enterprises operating across the globe and its customers include 60% of the Fortune 500."

5. adding the updated product line of SUSE to the brief description part to give a complete overview of the range:

"PRODUCTS

Linux

- SUSE® Linux Enterprise Server (former Linux Enterprise Server)

- SUSE® Linux Enterprise Server for SAP® Applications (former Linux Enterprise Server for SAP Applications)

- SUSE® Linux Micro (former Linux Enterprise Micro)

- SUSE® Multi-Linux Manager (former SUSE Manager)

- SUSE® Multi-Linux Support (former Liberty Linux)

Cloud Native

- SUSE® Rancher Prime (former Rancher Prime)

- SUSE® Cloud Observability (former StackState SaaS)

Edge

- SUSE® Edge for Telco (former Adaptive Telco Infrastructure Platform)

- SUSE® Edge

AI

- SUSE® AI Foundation (former SUSE AI - Base Architecture)

- SUSE® AI Applications (former SUSE AI - Rancher App Catalog)

Capabilities

- SUSE® Virtualization (former Harvester)

- SUSE® Storage (former Longhorn)

- SUSE® Security (former NeuVector)

- SUSE® Observability (former StackState)"

I would be very grateful if you could take a look at the proposed changes.

Thanks -- Clara vW (talk) 07:28, 28 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
