GMC Sorrano up for deletion

[edit]

I've added the "{{prod}}" template to the article GMC Sorrano, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Notability). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, or, if you disagree, discuss the issues raised at Talk:GMC Sorrano. If you remove the {{dated prod}} template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. --93JC 02:50, 2 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Please go to the talk page and discuss before removing the content. I'm sure we can work this out. Thanks Postoak 00:33, 31 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

AfD nomination of Fabral

[edit]

I've nominated Fabral, an article you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but in this particular case I do not feel that Fabral satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion; I have explained why in the nomination space (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and the Wikipedia deletion policy). Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Fabral and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of Fabral during the discussion but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion discussion. Thank you. Inkpaduta 18:27, 5 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Aviasca

[edit]

"# (diff) (hist) . . George Bush Intercontinental Airport‎; 19:49 . . (+101) . . Thatthat (Talk | contribs | block) (Aviacsa is gone. Deal with it or I will report you for vandalisim.)"

I find your text incredibly rude. When I told you that you needed a source, replying back calling my edit "vandalism" (There are specific definitions of that - see Wikipedia:Vandalism) is the absolute worst thing to do. I will revert your edit as you have no Wikipedia:Reliable sources. If Aviacsa leaves, we will remove Aviasca.

Making more Wikipedia:Personal attacks will prevent you from editing Wikipedia. See Wikipedia:Block.

Please refrain from calling content disputes "vandalism." WhisperToMe (talk) 19:55, 6 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

January 2008

[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, adding content without citing a reliable source, as you did to Aviacsa, is not consistent with our policy of verifiability. This is especially important when dealing with biographies of living people, but applies to all Wikipedia articles. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you are already familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources please take this opportunity to add your original reference to the article. Thank you. Postoak (talk) 20:02, 6 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Another editor has added the "{{prod}}" template to the article French American School of Miami, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but the editor doesn't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and has explained why in the article (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Notability). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia or discuss the relevant issues at its talk page. If you remove the {{prod}} template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Speedy deletion of Amazon Veiculos

[edit]

A tag has been placed on Amazon Veiculos requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a company or corporation, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for companies and corporations.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Hi Thatthat, please stop adding material to The Consumerist that violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy. Thanks -Killing Vector (talk) 22:12, 5 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please note that such language is NOT acceptable, whatever the situation. Please watch what you write, or, if unable to do so, please stay away from editing. 124x247x221x146 (talk) 18:26, 2 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Kish Khodro requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. MatthewVanitas (talk) 20:34, 29 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Nomination of Kish Khodro for deletion

[edit]

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Kish Khodro is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Kish Khodro until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.

Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article. Bbb23 (talk) 01:56, 29 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The article Arab American Vehicles has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Fails WP:NCORP

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
