Sydney Gibbes page edits 2013

[edit]

Hi, on 10 December 2013 you made the following additions to the page "Sydney Gibbes": The house was built circa 1890 by a charity founded to distribute free medicine to the poor. During the war the building became the central 'Air Raid Protection' telephone exchange and there is still a 'bomb proof' concrete partition between the ground and first floor.

Can you tell me where you found this information? I am a local Oxford historian. Many thanks. 2A00:23C8:D020:4501:4965:70C4:C8ED:7A94 (talk) 16:20, 2 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]

You are mistaken. On that date, I made this edit. A slight variant of the text you quote was added to the article at this edit of 2013-02-12 and then tweaked for grammar which matches the text of your quote at this edit of 2013-02-23.
I cannot answer your question. If you do find a source for that text, please add it to the article.
