A belated welcome!

Here's wishing you a belated welcome to Wikipedia, Treponemapandemonium! I see that you've already been around a while and wanted to thank you for your contributions. Though you seem to have been successful in finding your way around, you may still benefit from following some of the links below, which help editors get the most out of Wikipedia:

Hello bacteria-interested person!
[edit]Hello and welcome! I noticed your username and work at Hideyo Noguchi and figured I'd reach out. There's not a lot of microbiology-interested editors here, so I hope you decide to stick around. Wikipedia is a big place with a labyrinthine set of norms and rules; if you encounter any issues and need a hand, please let me know and I'll do my best to help. If you do decide to stick around, it helps to find your people. Editors collect around shared interests at WikiProjects. The obvious choice is WP:WikiProject Microbiology, but it has largely lapsed into silence. The most related active project is probably WikiProject Medicine. If you have questions, concerns, tasks large enough that you'd like collaborators, etc. feel free to ask at its talk page WT:MED. You're most welcome to contribute there in response to other threads as well.
If you've got some free time, we're currently trying to help WikiProject Unreferenced Articles with their November backlog drive by cleaning up the 115 medicine articles that completely lack sources. Any help is appreciated. Otherwise, I hope I'll see you around. Best, Ajpolino (talk) 03:53, 22 November 2024 (UTC)
