Hello, UrbanTORevitalization, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.

I noticed that one of the first articles you edited was Draft:YZD, Toronto, which appears to be dealing with a topic with which you may have a conflict of interest. In other words, you may find it difficult to write about that topic in a neutral and objective way, because you are, work for, or represent, the subject of that article. Your recent contributions may have already been undone for this very reason.

To reduce the chances of your contributions being undone, you might like to draft your revised article before submission, and then ask me or another editor to proofread it. See our help page on userspace drafts for more details. If the page you created has already been deleted from Wikipedia, but you want to save the content from it to use for that draft, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page.

One rule we do have in connection with conflicts of interest is that accounts used by more than one person will unfortunately be blocked from editing. Wikipedia generally does not allow editors to have usernames which imply that the account belongs to a company or corporation. If you have a username like this, you should request a change of username or create a new account. (A name that identifies the user as an individual within a given organization may be OK.)

In addition, if you receive, or expect to receive, compensation for any contribution you make, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation to comply with our terms of use and our policy on paid editing.

Please advise further on how to move this wikipedia page further. We have eliminated all traces of promotional materials and have utilized a far more neutral tone. This is a critical project for the City of Toronto and community members deserve the chance to know what's going on with North America's largest redevelopment (not what we mentioned that in the draft).
Please call me at 705-772-9988. UrbanTORevitalization (talk) 13:12, 7 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Hi @UrbanTORevitalization. I honestly think it is probably a notable topic and should be included, but the draft still reads promotionally. You can cut out the entire Meanwhile Uses and Neighbourhoods sections. It's still packed with promotional phrases throughout. Read Wikipedia carefully.
This is why we really discourage PR peoples from writing Wikipedia articles, we find you simply cannot write in an encyclopaedic manner. Wikipedia is not an advertising brochure.
If you manage to re-write the draft to comply with our policies, then let me know or re-submit the draft. But in it's current state it is still not appropriate. qcne (talk) 20:24, 9 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hi @UrbanTORevitalization.

Thanks for your email.

The fundamental problem is that you have written your draft like you would a public relations advertisement. Wikipedia is not a place for PR adverts.

Your draft is, in it's current format, little more than spam.

Forget everything you ever knew about public relations. Completely re-write your draft in accordance with our policy on neutrality. You will probably need to start from scratch. qcne (talk) 16:11, 18 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. This is just a note to let you know that I've moved the draft that you were working on to Draft:YZD, from its old location at User:UrbanTORevitalization/sandbox. This has been done because the Draft namespace is the preferred location for Articles for Creation submissions. Please feel free to continue to work on it there. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to ask me on my talk page. Thank you. ~Liancetalk 18:39, 3 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
