Articles for deletion nomination of CyanogenMod
[edit]I have nominated CyanogenMod, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/CyanogenMod (2nd nomination). Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Consider userfication
[edit]For multiple reasons, Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/CyanogenMod is likely to end with a Delete. Would you consider having CyanogenMod moved to your userspace? Userfication would preserve this work until general notability can be established. There seem to be enough CyanogenMod-enthusiastic editors to quickly identify the necessary coverage when it occurs.
If you don't wish to take on maintaining this article, can you recommend another editor (preferably someone who has worked on the CyanogenMod article) who can keep it? / edg ☺ ☭ 14:06, 23 September 2009 (UTC)

Userfying the CyanogenMod article
[edit]You can request the deleted article be restored to User:Virdi/CyanogenMod at Wikipedia:Requests for undeletion, or simply ask any editor listed at Category:Wikipedia administrators who will provide copies of deleted articles. The latter route is probably faster; Casliber (talk · contribs) and DGG (talk · contribs) are big on preserving information, so I suspect they would be especially happy to perform this undeletion. / edg ☺ ☭ 17:33, 25 September 2009 (UTC)
I have userfied and moved it to User:Virdi/CyanogenMod for you. Good luck improving it and getting the necessary sources. Casliber (talk · contribs) 20:02, 25 September 2009 (UTC)
- Thank you both, Casliber and Virdi, for retaining this article, with the hope that one day it can be reinstated into mainspace. It's a shame someone[who?] had such a hard-on for the AfD, considering some of the
fancruftjunk on WP, but so be it. I'll watchlist the userfied version and see if I can improve it myself. IMO it's already full of useful, topical information (especially considering the latest flap), and I commend everyone working to keep it alive. — VoxLuna ☾ orbitland 06:23, 3 November 2009 (UTC)- Thanks for your concern. Let's try to clean the userfied article User:Virdi/CyanogenMod and plug it back mainstream in couple of weeks. I guess we have enough coverage to go mainstream. virdi (talk) 23:35, 19 November 2009 (UTC)
I have added a redirect from your page to the official article. You can still access all your content by going to the redirect page and clicking edit, but readers will be automatically redirected to the article. --javier032 (talk) 01:54, 21 November 2010 (UTC)
