Information icon Hello, I'm Ivebeenhacked. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Comac C919, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. @Yuezhi Huang. Hello there, it's me again (yay!). So today, I was scrutinizing the sources you added at the Comac 919 article and I noticed that you added a citation called "SimpleFlying". However, SimpleFlying's reliability has been discussed by editors multiple times at WP:RSN and it was deemed unreliable. I hope you understand and if you have further questions, feel free to ask me. Cheers! Hacked (Talk|Contribs) 22:34, 23 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
hi there! Thanks for reaching out! I’ve corrected the source to an article on Shanghai Daily wrote by Xinhua, the Chinese state owned media. Hope this will work out! Merry Xmas and happy holidays!

Is the CR450AF is expected to enter into service on the Second Chengdu–Chongqing high-speed railway in 2025 or 2027?

[edit]

The article Second Chengdu–Chongqing high-speed railway says the expected opening of this line is 2027, but in the article CR400AF you wrote that it was expected to enter service on this line in 2025. I was wondering, which of these is correct? 219.89.39.67 (talk) 13:30, 31 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, sorry for the lack of source to this sentence, indeed the opening date of the second Chengdu-Chongqing HSR is described as 2027 on Wikipedia, but recently it changed to the end of 2025, the source of this message is quite unreliable in my opinion, I'm looking for a more reliable source at the moment. Till that happens, I'll delete the information regarding to the HSR from the article.
Best wishes and happy new year! Yuezhi Huang (talk) 13:42, 31 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
No need to be sorry. Thanks for the clarification, hopefully you can find a good source for that. Happy new year, and nice work on the article! 219.89.39.67 (talk) 13:47, 31 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Your edits

Please make yourself more familiar with our style and content guidelines before damaging even more articles, e.g. we do NOT place aircraft images in airline infoboxes as per longstanding concensus and you cannot change that at will. 2001:A61:1212:8701:407E:F4E8:9F60:C89B (talk) 08:49, 19 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

(talk page stalker) so far, you’re the only user actively claiming such a consensus exists. Therefore, it is up to you to provide evidence that this consensus exists - and if it doesn’t, then it is up to you to start the necessary discussion to get consensus. However, edit warring will not help your cause. Danners430 (talk) 09:33, 19 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Aircraft images in infoboxes

[edit]

Please refrain immediately from adding random aircraft images to airline infoboxes. There has been longstanding concensus in the aviation portal to NOT do this - there is a reason why no airline articles have them and you are damaging our well-maintained articles by ignoring our style manual which other users try to keep up. 82.135.81.179 (talk) 16:31, 19 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I still have heard no consensus about this. Please provide a consensus about this. Hacked (Talk|Contribs) 16:32, 19 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, sorry to hear that, can you please link the related talk page or discussion page for the “consensus” here? Many thanks. Yuezhi Huang (talk) 16:34, 19 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Why do you think of all the airline articles you edit exactly none have an aircraft image in their infoboxes? There is widespread agreement within regular editors to not do so. Feel free to open a new discussion about that at the aviation portal, the last discussion about this was several years ago, i'll provide a link if I find it in the archive. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.135.81.179 (talk) 16:36, 19 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Please provide the link to that consensus. Hacked (Talk|Contribs) 16:39, 19 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I’m sorry, but “why do you think” is not a solid proof to this topic. It’s YOUR job to start a discussion in the portal to REMOVE or NOT REMOVE those pictures that me and other people added to the infobox. Personally I find no reasons to remove a beautiful image that represents the airline and it proves a cover image to the page, of course we can discuss these in the topic and get a common conclusion. Before that happens, please do not remove other people’s contribution without a solid proof of common sense, many thanks. Yuezhi Huang (talk) 16:43, 19 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
