William de Beauchamp (of Elmley)
William de Beauchamp (c. 1105–c. 1170)[1] [2] was an Anglo-Norman baron and hereditary sheriff.
He was born in Elmley Castle,[3][4][5] Worcestershire, the son of Walter de Beauchamp, who had been made hereditary Sheriff of Worcestershire after the feudal barony of Salwarpe[6] in Worcestershire had been confiscated from his uncle Roger d'Abetot. He served in this capacity from the death of his father in 1130 until his own death around 1170. He also served as sheriff for three other counties, Warwickshire (1157), Gloucestershire (1157–1163) and Herefordshire (1160–1169).[7]
He died in 1170 and was buried in Worcester.

- William II de Beauchamp (d.1197) who inherited the Worcestershire Shrievalty married Amice (Amecia) (Alicia): they had two children:

To unknown de Salwarpe sister of Odo de Salwarpe mistress he had one daughter:
- Juliana de Beauchamp
Amice (Amecia) (Alicia) de Salwarpe maybe the same person [11] where it states that Alicia the lady of Salwarpe is confirmed the husband of William and her son William is mentioned and Walter her son in relation to grants given to the nuns of Boicot, A History of Worcestershire House of Benedictine Nuns the Priory of Westwood.
