The 1985 UTEP Miners football team was an American football team that represented the University of Texas at El Paso in the Western Athletic Conference during the 1985 NCAA Division I-A football season. In their fourth year under head coach Bill Yung, the team compiled a 1–10 record.[1][2] Their lone victory against BYU was (by points spread) the 5th biggest upset in College football history since (at least) 1980. [3]
