A general election will be held in the U.S. state of Alabama on November 3, 2026. Primary elections will take place on May 26, 2026.
Federal offices

[edit]One-term incumbent Tommy Tuberville is running for re-election.[1]
United States House of Representatives

[edit]Two-term incumbent governor Kay Ivey is term-limited and cannot seek re-election.[2]
Lieutenant governor
[edit]Two-term incumbent lieutenant governor Will Ainsworth is term-limited and cannot seek re-election.[3]
Attorneys general
[edit]Two-term incumbent attorneys general Steve Marshall is term-limited and cannot seek re-election.[4]
Secretary of State
[edit]One-term incumbent Secretary of State Wes Allen is retiring to run for lieutenant governor.[5]
State Treasurer
[edit]Four-term incumbent treasurer Young Boozer is eligible for re-election as Alabama law sets term limits at two consecutive terms.[6]
State Auditor
[edit]One-term incumbent auditor Andrew Sorrell was eligible to run for re-election, but opted instead to run for secretary of state in 2026.[7]
Commissioner of Agriculture and Industries
[edit]Two-term incumbent commissioner Rick Pate is term-limited and cannot seek re-election.[8]
