Anssafidine Youssouf Mohamed[1], known by the mononym Asf Dine, born on November 11, 2001 in Nkourani Sima in Great Comoros, is a Comorian rapper, songwriter, producer and performer.
He is the youngest Comorian artist residing in the Comoros to be part of the playlist of the rapper artist Menzo of the group Fonky Family.
His blaze is inspired by the "CINEAST" logo of the Interface Prod label.
In February 2023, he opened for the Interface Prod label concert[2] at the Moroni basketball stadium.
He made a name for himself in 2020 by participating in the first edition of Udjuzi[3], a competition for the Comorian talent of the year. Under contract with rapper Jeez's Mkb Concept label, his debut album, entitled EZA NI TOWA, is scheduled for release in 2024.
Biography

[edit]Anssafidine Youssouf Mohamed[4] was born on November 11, 2001 in Nkourani Sima in Great Comoros, then spent part of his childhood in Mboueni, before his family moved to Mtsamboudjou. Of Comorian origin, he grew up in a family of three children. His mother is a housewife and his father, Youssouf Mohamed, is a former presidential guard. Self-taught, he writes his own texts.
Asf Dine made its first stage at the beginning of 2017. He was spotted there in October by Abdjokayl, rapper and founder of the group Black Style and originally from the same neighborhood. The following month, he co-wrote his first single, Wachili Na Mdro, followed in February 2018 by Makolza.
In 2018, Asf and Mh Cruz collaborated on the Makolza sound, and decided to create the duo Creazy Boyz, which later became Cruz Boy's Music. Asf Dine left the band in 2019 and embarked on a solo career
Revelation to the general public and projects
[edit]In 2019, he released his very first solo project (RIDJIRI MBALI), which is a mixtape of 9 tracks, he began to experience a local buzz thanks to a track of the latter called DJIRANI, allowing him to meet Layal who pushed him to participate in November 2020, in the Udjuzi competition, a competition, co-produced by ComoresTélécom, MpRealz and broadcast by ORTC-TV. During this experience, Asf managed to make himself known throughout the archipelago, he was eliminated in the 16th semi-final. In 2021, two years after his first project, and one month after his elimination from the UDJUZI show, Asf Dine released on January 1 a surprise EP entitled WAKATI UKA UNI HIBI, containing 5 tracks without featuring.
On the strength of his new success, Asf unveils in turn the videos of the tracks Haki Na Udjinga, Victorious Awax, both taken from his latest project and other unreleased sounds Success feat with Lz Gvng, Ubé feat Mouhni Blaz or Roho Ndzidu feat with the rapper Bilwiz before releasing his third project, entitled DJIRUME[5] on January 25, 2022. This project confirms the talent of the young artist with big collaborations such as: Bilwiz on the track Roho Ndzidu, Killamen on Dumé, Hoosligo on Nafassi, Aliyano on Djirume and Tays in Kinga.
After a few weeks, DJIRUME is removed from the platforms but will be put back in March 2022.
Eza Ni Towa (1st album)
[edit]In March 2024, Asf announced the upcoming release of its first album by changing his cover photo of his Facebook page, a photo on which we could see "ZANITOWA AVRIL" a photo that was quickly deleted by the artist.
Freestyle competition at the University of the Comoros and YKWG
[edit]In December 2022, As Dine became and remains to this day the best freestyler of the University of the Comoros, a thing that is confirmed by the thousands of people who attended for almost an hour of improvisation.
After a year 2023, without releasing an individual project, Asf participates in the "YKWG" project of rapper and director Soifaoui.y bringing together more than twenty artists from the urban scene. Asf, is on the two eponymous tracks "YKWG & YKWG 2"
Personal life
[edit]He is a history student at the University of the Comoros. He is also in charge of the artists of the group Kissimani Family.
