Government Engineering College, Ajmer (GEC Ajmer or ECA) is a public autonomous engineering institute located in Ajmer, Rajasthan, India. Established in 1997 by the Government of Rajasthan, the institute is affiliated with Bikaner Technical University and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). It offers undergraduate and postgraduate programs in engineering, management, and computer applications.

History

The college was established in 1997 by the Government of Rajasthan to expand technical education in the state. It began with a few engineering branches and has since evolved into a multidisciplinary engineering institution.[1]

Campus

The campus spans approximately 187 acres and is situated near Badliya Chouraha on National Highway 8 in Ajmer. Facilities include academic and administrative blocks, hostels, workshops, a bank, canteen, and sports grounds.
