Submission declined on 14 June 2025 by Paul W (talk). This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of people). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.

Comment: Not seeing multiple examples significant coverage in reliable, independent, secondary sources. The subject's own websites are not reliable sources; some sources appear to be mainly photo pages with no mention of Street. Routine or passing mentions do not count as significant coverage, not does content generated as PR or marketing. Paul W (talk) 16:01, 14 June 2025 (UTC)

Joseph Anthony Street (born 19 April 1988) is a British actor, model, and film-maker. He played the role of AFC Richmond footballer Paul Reynolds in the Apple TV+ comedy Ted Lasso. Other credits include performances in Genius Game (2025), Trollied (2016), and Cannibal Farm (2017). He is also the co-creator of the comedy short Hanging (2024).
Early life and education
[edit]Street was born on 19 April 1988 in Worcester, attending The King's School, Worcester from 1996-2006.[1] He holds a BSc Sports Science degree from Swansea University.[2]
Career
[edit]Acting and modelling
[edit]Street's first experience of modelling came while competing in the Mister Wales 2011 pageant[3][4] where he finished first runner up, using the event to shoe-horn his way into the industry. He would later represent Wales at Mr World 2016.[5][6][7]
While building a career as a model, Street began working as a stand-in for other actors including Chris Hemsworth, Ryan Reynolds and Callum Turner,[8] before landing his first acting role in Dark Temple Motion Pictures' Escape From Cannibal Farm[9] for director Charlie Steeds. Street collaborated once more with Steeds on his next picture The House of Violent Desire.[10]
In August 2019, following an audition at West London Film Studios, he was invited to join the cast of the new Apple TV+ production, Ted Lasso, and appeared in the role of Paul Reynolds throughout all three seasons.[citation needed]
In June 2020, as part of the BFI Network x BAFTA Crew Mentoring programme,[11] Street joined a team of independent filmmakers to create Double Word Score,[12] a 90-second short film exploring a blossoming romance between two neighbours as they self-isolate during the coronavirus pandemic.
In September 2022, while filming season 3 of Ted Lasso, Street performed in a week-long theatre run of the stage adaptation of Blackadder Goes Forth at The Pump House Theatre, Watford in the title role of Edmund Blackadder.[citation needed] In 2024 he played Tom Watson in The Girl on The Train at the same theatre.[citation needed]
In 2025 Street was revealed as one of the dealers for season one of the UK version of Genius Game.[citation needed]
Directing and producing
[edit]In 2023, Street collaborated with producer Tobias Phillips to write, produce and direct Hanging,[13] a short comedy film, narrated by James Lance, about a young woman, struggling with a hangover, who finds herself locked out of the house. Hanging was the first production from Street's production company Film Béduer. Street and Phillips continue to collaborate on Film Béduer projects at various stages of development including Canine, Haul and The Grower.[14]
