The Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) is an American media franchise and shared universe that is the setting of superhero films and television series produced by Marvel Studios, based on characters that appear in Marvel Comics publications. Phase Four of the franchise includes eight television series, four sequels to Infinity Saga films, as well as three new film properties and two television specials.
