Area of this constituency includes G. Udayagiri, G. Udayagiri block, Daringbadi block, Tikabali block and Raikia block.[3][4]

This constituency was known as UDAYAGIRI-MOHANA in 1951 & G UDAIGIRI in 1957 & 1961, UDAYAGIRI from 1967 to 2004 & G. Udayagiri since 2009.
