"Islamic terrorism"

[edit]

Whoever keeps adding the words "islamic terrorism" and related templates to the article, should better find reliable sources for this. As it stands now, the perpetrators were found guilty of an "intention to murder" and not of terrorism. The article, based on sources, also makes it clear that the motive behind the attack was "revenge" and not religion (i.e., a sense of a religious obligation). Will be removing these POV templates added fairly recently. — kashmīrī TALK 08:53, 1 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Requested move 20 March 2025

[edit]

21 July 2005 London bombings21 July 2005 London attempted bombings – or 21 July 2005 attempted London bombings. If I understand correctly, this was a failed bombing attempt. None of the devices exploded as intended, resulting only in popping sounds and one person having an asthma attack – and the police hunting down and killing an innocent person the next day. There wasn't even any significant property damage. The 7 July 2005 London bombings article uses a pipe for its link to this article, identifying it as "a series of attempted attacks". That phrase seems more accurate than the current article title. — BarrelProof (talk) 22:44, 20 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]

  • Support I agree it should be moved to something on those lines.
