The article was moved to mainspace on time and a full QPQ has been performed. No close paraphrasing was found (the yellow result on Earwig is a false positive due to repeated mentions of institutions), and both hooks are cited inline and verified. Either hook can be used. The image is public domain so acceptable, but it is probably a bad fit for the Main Page owing to it not being that good quality (the eyes and facial features are not that good at that resolution). There's only one minor issue holding this back: ALT1 is supported by the source, but the current wording of the article does not suggest he studied medicine first before switching, but rather he studied art in lieu of medicine. Introduction

Hi there, and thanks for your contributions! I only just began reviewing GA articles for the first time today, so I ask for everyone's patience as I navigate the process and become more familiar with the criteria. I welcome anyone to provide feedback on the quality of my reviews.

I read the entire article before starting this review, and my initial impression is very good. I noticed no obvious issues, typos or funny bits of prose in my first reading. My only observation was that an art scholar might wish to see more content in the "Style" section, however, I do believe it satisfies the criteria for "Broad in its coverage" nonetheless. The nominator may wish to consider further adjusting the lead sentence to describe more what he's notable for, rather than just the addition of his birthplace. The lead didn't include his birthplace before this addition, which I'd say is vital information.

The reference from the Ryseron and Burnham Art and Architecture Archive was a permanent deadlink. The page was archived here, but for one reason or another, the content itself didn't get saved, only the header of the website. Luckily, this reference actually wasn't needed, because the other attached reference supports the information regarding the 1873 Chicago Interstate Industrial Exposition as well.
