Fortresses which are not castles

Castles specifically describe fortresses which were built in Europe and the eastern coasts of Middle Easts during the Middle Ages for the nobility. Fortifications like Rumelihisarı or Anadoluhisarı should not be listed here since they don't align with this definition.
