@Lililolol:

  • EARWIG shows 24.8% - violations unlikely.
  • According to link-dispenser,
    • Philippines Hot 100 ref needs an archive link.

Hello Vestrian24Bio, sorry for intrusion, but this nom should result in quick fail. The nominator is not familiar with the subject as they've contributed only 1.9% of the article according to this. Just thought I should let you know. They should've consulted with the main contributor(s) before coming here. dxneo (talk) 02:36, 11 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I did see that, and the nom hasn't responded as well, I'll fail the nomination. Vestrian24Bio 05:56, 11 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for taking a look!
  • The "commercial performance" paragraph that appears on this website is plagiarized from Wikipedia, as I wrote it myself for this article first. You can tell the content is directly copied from Wikipedia because some lines on the website still retain reference numbers like "[36][37]".
  • All archive links have been added.
  • Tweets have been replaced and/or removed.
  • Which ones are refs 64 & 89? If it is referring to the RIM chart and ARIA certification, those can't be replaced as those are the only places they are uploaded.
  • Hatnote combined.
  • See also section removed.
Flabshoe1 (talk) 15:08, 18 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Current RIM chart source is a facebook post, don't they have a website? same for ARIA, which is a Dropbox PDF by someone called "Tara Thomas from PAM Official"?? Vestrian24Bio 07:55, 24 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

  • Doesn't Depp have a singles chronology?
  • The page has a CS1 error on ref 20.
  • Specify a language variant.
  • Didn't the song get any accolades (award nominations or Year-end lists)..?
  • Sportskeeda ref 4 is an unreliable source.
  • The 2nd paragraph of the lead is unnecessary as the first part repeats the list on infobox and the rest are possible WP:OR and unnecessary to be in the lead section.
    • Just The song relates to the storyline of The Idol. It received a mixed reception from critics, who praised the vocals, seductive feel, and production, but criticized the explicit lyrics. at the end of the first paragraph would be enough. Vestrian24Bio 15:08, 24 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
  • "One of the Girls" saw a surge in popularity after going viral on video sharing platform TikTok - Also seems like WP:OR at this point.
  • ... becoming the Weeknd's 11th, Jennie's second, and Depp's first top-ten hit respectively - no need for "respectively".
  • ... top ten in Greece, Hungary, India, Indonesia, Latvia, Lithuania, MENA, Singapore, UAE, and Vietnam - no need to list them all.
  • Instead of most-streamed song of the year as of July with 860 million streams worldwide according to Luminate say most-streamed song of the fist half-year with 860 million streams worldwide according to Luminate mid-year report.
  • as well as his Spotify Billions Club Live concert - unnecessary for lead.
  • Isn't there any image available for the "Live performances" section..?
  • First paragraph in the "Background and release" section seems over-detailed.
  • The "Lyrics and composition" section should be "Composition and lyrics", also there could be more info about composition such as music key, time signatures used, recording techniques and structure etc. - and the paragraph could be split into two.
  • Source for one of the best-performing tracks from The Idol's soundtrack? also italicize like, ''The Idol''{{'}}s.

Vestrian24Bio 15:08, 24 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

  • Better or more citations needed for following statements in the "Commercial performance" section,
    • " the song debuted at number 14 on the Hot R&B Songs chart dated July 8, 2023,"
    • "The song later doubled in streams over a period of six weeks"
    • "growing from 1.9 million streams for the week ending November 2 to 4.1 million for the week ending December 7"
    • "On December 16, it debuted at number 17 on the Bubbling Under Hot 100, rising to top the chart the following week." - is that even a WP:GOODCHART?
    • "Billboard attributed the song's growth to its virality on video sharing platform TikTok"
    • "mainly from Blinks' support for Jennie's parts of the song, with fans praising her "enchanting vocals"" - has WP:NPOV issues here...
    • "for the highest-charting song by a female K-pop solo artist" - the source seems to be about Billboard only.
    • "seven consecutive weeks on the Hot 100"
    • "She joined Psy as the only two Korean soloists to achieve this feat"
    • " The song surpassed 1 billion streams on Spotify"
    • "first Korean female solo artist to receive a platinum certification from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA)"
    • "January 20, 2024, "One of the Girls" rose from number 15 to 10"
    • "entering the top ten for the first time"
    • "Jennie her second, and Depp her first on the chart"
    • "Billboard Global Excl. US, the song rose from number 12 to 7"
    • "Weeknd's ninth, Jennie's second, and Depp's first top-ten hit on the chart" - no need for 'respectively' there.
    • "After three further weeks in the top ten"
    • " rose from number seven to a new peak at number five"
    • "remained charting at number six on the Global Excl. US for an 18th consecutive week"
    • "it peaked at number 21 on the UK Singles Chart""

Vestrian24Bio 15:13, 25 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

  • Instead of chart dated July 8, 2023, say chart on July 8, 2023 - same for all other charts mentioned...
  • 1,000 downloads sold - how could downloads be sold?
  • Link artists name on first mention in each section.
  • Instead of With this, Lily-Rose Depp scored her first appearance on any Billboard chart say Lily-Rose Depp made her first appearance on a Billboard chart with this.
  • Rewrite "The song later doubled in streams over a period of six weeks, growing from 1.9 million streams for the week ending November 2 to 4.1 million for the week ending December 7".
  • Just the opening weeks' streams and downloads are enough for the "Commercial performance" section, no need for chart units either as they have their own section.
  • "ascended to number 69" - WP:NPOV issue
  • making Jennie break the record previously held by her bandmate should be making Jennie surpass her bandmate.
  • "extended her record as the song rose positions in subsequent weeks" - WP:NPOV issues
  • ""One of the Girls" rose from number 15 to 10" - WP:NPOV issue
  • "with 40.6 million streams worldwide (up 11%)" - no need.
  • "the song rose from number 12 to 7 the same week" - WP:NPOV issue
  • "with 33.6 million streams outside the US (up 10%)" - no need
  • "the song rose from number seven to a new peak" - WP:NPOV issue
  • "with 38.6 million streams outside the US (up 2%)" - no need
  • midyear should be mid-year.
  • "worldwide by overall on-demand audio streaming volume, achieving 860 million streams" - WP:NPOV issues
  • highest-charting solo song by a Blackpink member - unnecessary
  • It earned 430,000 UK chart units as of October 2024, the most for any Blackpink member's solo single. - also unnecessary
  • "gave "One of the Girls" its live debut" - WP:NPOV issue
  • "honor of him becoming the artist with the most songs to hit one billion streams" - WP:NPOV issues
