'ran away from the discussion'
[edit]Text deleted as the link provided does not demonstrate that she literally 'ran away'. Figurative descriptions should be avoided. No objection to reinstatement of other words which are more precisely indicative of what happened. 78.33.185.122 (talk) 16:51, 27 June 2020 (UTC)
Today undid revision 968358374 by SalisburySyndrome as it appears that the statement is true, being supported by the reference given. I originally took out the reference to 'ran away' because this was not supportable from the reference given, but, regrettably, could not myself make the change which I have reverted, because it appears to be essentially true. 78.33.185.122 (talk) 21:30, 17 August 2020 (UTC)
Today undid revision 974820659 by Chessrat. The claim that the source removed is not NPOV is specious, because it is an actual recording of the subject. It is unfortunate for Olney that the recording exists - personally, I would rather it had not happened, but it did - and I toned down the original text to remove the reference to 'ran away', because that was interpretation form a non NPOV. The question of NPOV is a question of interpretation, the recording provides no interpretation one way or the other. Unless anyone wishes to claim that the recording is not a true record.
Today undid revision 978543762 by 86.151.255.93. The claim that the information removed is 'outdated' is specious, because it has not changed. There appears to be a concerted effort by divers editors to remove the information that Olney did not defend her position. This effort is becoming as notable as the information itself. Perhaps future editors who wish to remove this information should consider the Streisand Effect.78.33.185.122 (talk) 11:23, 17 September 2020 (UTC)
I suggest that those who wish to alter the text discuss the matter here first. 78.33.185.122 (talk) 16:05, 25 August 2020 (UTC)
