False statement about working on The Shining

The statement about working on The Shining has been determined to be false. Tony was interviewed again by Metro in 2016 and indicated that while Simon did pursue a job as a runner at Elstree Studios during The Shining's pre-production, he actually took a job at EMI instead. According to Tony, his story "was a joke which they took for serious." Subsequently in 2018 Simon himself confirmed in a BGT segment that he didn't get the Shining job. 98.11.102.41 (talk) 19:46, 10 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
