On reading this article, I was struck by the similarity with another building project, also in London, also a fiasco. But the more modern structure is south of the river, in Greenwich. At least the Millenium Dome was finished. 84.130.113.173 14:06, 28 October 2005 (UTC)

Interesting that Watkins'Tower was never completed because the money ran out! Will the same apply to the new Wembley Stadium??

[edit]Inasfar as the man's surname was Watkin, it is surely Watkin's tower.
