Estimated date of birth proposal
[edit]Hello, A recent edit removed the proposed birth date for Billy Butcher (June 1st, 1972) without providing any justification. This addition was based on objective elements — including the age of actor Karl Urban, the timeline of the series, and recurring discussions among fans. In the absence of any official canon information, it seems reasonable to mention an estimated date, clearly stated as such and open to discussion. Please respect the collaborative nature of this platform. I suggest reinstating the information in a neutral and properly contextualized manner.
Hello, @User:Babysharkboss2, I noticed that you reverted my recent edit on Valikamam West (diff) without providing any explanation. I believe my edits were constructive. Would you be willing to clarify your reasoning for the reversion? I'd be happy to discuss and reach a consensus before making further changes. Thanks yaa! Please be more careful when reverting
[edit]It was brought to my attention on my talk page (User talk:Qwerfjkl#Question from WLernerPJG (14:09, 4 April 2025)) that some of your reverts are questionable, so I had a look over your contributions. Most of them looked fine, but a few were not. For instance, Cult of the Lamb (Diff ~1283832560) - you are correct that the source is bad, but that is not a reason to revert a good faith edit. It took me 10 seconds to find a multitude of sources supporting it - it would have been better to just replace the source, and you edit summary was unnecessarily abrasive. I saw this again with Portal:Current events/2013 December 3 (Diff ~1284162463) - the revert is fine, but the language used in your edit summary is not. — Qwerfjkltalk 10:29, 6 April 2025 (UTC)
Communication
[edit]Hello, I have noticed you do not seem to respond to messages on your talk pages asking for clarification on some of your reverts or questionable behaviour even when you are actively editing. I know that sometimes communicating with other editors can cause anxiety in some editors, but it’s really important to be able to able to communicate with other editors in order for the project to work. If communication is very difficult for you, it may be better to focus on more “solo” editing such as article writing, rather than anti-vandalism. -- NotCharizard 🗨 05:33, 9 April 2025 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, I am AstronomyKid1. I noticed a couple of your userboxes mentioned that you play tabletop roleplaying games. I, too, play tabletop roleplaying games, specifically Star Wars Unlimited and D&D. If I may ask, are or have you played Dungeons and Dragons?
AstronomyKid1 (talk) 19:05, 21 April 2025 (UTC)
- Yes, I play D&D ☩ (Babysharkboss2) 21:09, 21 April 2025 (UTC)
- Excellent! My school has a D&D club that I go to frequently (in fact, all the time) and my character got a boost because I was selected as the student DM. She is now a level 8 blood hunter half-orc named Sutha Galadora (by the way, she looks absolutely NOTHING like an ordinary half-orc. She looks a lot more human-like, with pale skin and flowing long silky black hair.) She's pretty complicated, but she's a lot of fun to roleplay as! As I am typing this now, I was wondering if you had a character (or multiple) as well that you are or may have played as in campaigns. Who are they, and what class and race are they?

Speedy deletion nomination of Roses and raindrops
[edit]
A tag has been placed on Roses and raindrops requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section R3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a recently created redirect from an implausible typo or misnomer, or other unlikely search term.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Fram (talk) 16:54, 2 May 2025 (UTC)
- The text "roses and raindrops" doesn't even appear in the lyrics of that song... Fram (talk) 17:17, 2 May 2025 (UTC)
- Ahh, well I'm a fag. Googled it. Misheard the lyrics wrong. You're right, Fram, the correct line is;
- There are no raindrops on roses and girls in white dresses
- Gaslighted by my own poor hearing. Have a good day! I won't contest the deletion. ☩ (Babysharkboss2) 17:22, 2 May 2025 (UTC)

Whack! You've been whacked with a wet trout. Don't take this too seriously. Someone just wants to let you know that you did something silly. |
You have been trouted for: Relisting Bottom Live 2001: An Arse Oddity for deletion. The issue here is that it was AfD'd on May 5th, before the 7 day period. Second, you're the nominator, and per rules you can't relist your own AfD. See WP:RELIST. AnonymousScholar49 (talk) 13:17, 7 May 2025 (UTC)

About your "IP" snark at the Indo-Pak crisis: we are human too. (plus, technically, you are an IP concealed behind a username.) Believe it or not, this isn't my first rodeo on this site. Just because I can't be bothered to make an account doesn't mean I'm trying to vandalize.
Now, maybe you thought I was some Indian IT cell (based in New England, no less). I know geopol conflicts can become battlegrounds for the wikipedia warriors, so I understand the suspicion. I also get my little comment was unsourced, so if you removed it because of that just say so. I'm not a vandal and I'm not trying to push a narrative, just trying to curb misinformation (which itself is vague in the fog of war). The strikes were carried out with surface-launched missiles, so I'm rather curious how Pakistan shot down non-existent jets.
What I'm trying to say is, I'm fine with the removal of my comment, even if it may have been correct. Just don't IP-shame me, man. 128.148.204.3 (talk) 18:15, 7 May 2025 (UTC)

International Pirate Day
[edit]Hi there, I'm new to Wikipedia so I hope I'm doing this alright. I contacted the city of Nijmegen by mail to confirm if the day is happening, and they told me they couldn't find anything about it. The source leads to Nijmegen.lol, a website that appears to be fake (it was created on October 3th 2024, the day itself, according to Wayback Machine). It talks about events taking place in Doornroosje and De Stevenskerk, but neither of them have any information about it online, not even when you add the date. Yarnick182 (talk) 20:02, 20 May 2025 (UTC)Yarnick182
- Babysharkboss2, you are responsible for checking sources if you're going to revert a removal. This doesn't really make sense as there aren't going to be sources outlining all of the things a city does not celebrate, and the source makes no claim that it is celebrated yearly. The other source doesn't mention talk like a pirate day at all. You must be more careful. ScottishFinnishRadish (talk) 10:49, 21 May 2025 (UTC)
