Information icon Hello, I'm Tgeorgescu. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Nativity of Jesus have been undone because they did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Teahouse or the Help desk. See WP:RS/AC for details. tgeorgescu (talk) 01:03, 25 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Crucifixion of Jesus. Your edits continue to appear to constitute vandalism and have been automatically reverted.

  • If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Note that human editors do monitor recent changes to Wikipedia articles, and administrators have the ability to block users from editing if they repeatedly engage in vandalism.
  • ClueBot NG makes very few mistakes, but it does happen. If you believe the change you made should not have been considered as unconstructive, please read about it, report it here, remove this warning from your talk page, and then make the edit again.
  • If you need help, please see the Introduction to Wikipedia, and if you can't find what you are looking for there, place {{Help me}} on your talk page and someone will drop by to help.
  • The following is the log entry regarding this warning: Crucifixion of Jesus was changed by Danishdeutsch (u) (t) ANN scored at 0.851095 on 2024-12-25T14:32:55+00:00

Thank you. ClueBot NG (talk) 14:32, 25 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Remsense ‥  22:16, 25 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Judaism is not a nationality

[edit]

So we don't say "German-Jewish" and in any case it wasn't sourced so unacceptable. Doug Weller talk 15:41, 25 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Re: New Orleans terror attack

[edit]
Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) identified the driver as Shamsud-Din Jabbar who also went by the alternative name 'Eli Shem'

Great example of why you shouldn't use primary sources. The reference you used does not say he went by "Eli Shem".[1] It says he went by Sham Jabbar or Eli Jabbar. Eli is used by some Muslims because it is similar to Ali. However, "Shem" and "Sham" are two very different names, so one wonders why you mistyped that. I'm the last person who's ever going to be considered politically correct in my personal life, but I'm astounded by this edit [2]. If you honestly think that calling all Jews demons (not just Caplin, regardless of what he's accused of doing) is appropriate, then I don't think you have the frame of mind to edit an encylopedia, at least not anything on political and religious topics. Request reason:

Hello. I have been blocked for no apparent reason. All my edits were of extremely high quality, backed by academic papers and valid sources. I don't understand any issue with my editing. I've contributed to dozens of pages on various topics. Please can my ban be appealed?Danishdeutsch (talk) 08:27, 22 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

The content of your user page as well as your edits suggest to me that the reason for the block is correct. Personally I see no pathway to you being unblocked without a topic ban from at least Abrahamic-religious topics. Your edit that is described above is disgusting and disqualifying. 331dot (talk) 09:07, 22 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Danishdeutsch this is like a man in court saying that on most days of his life he did not rob a bank. Your edit, which is now deleted permanently, vandalised a link so the word "Jewish" would redirect to the page Demon. I don't know how you're going to talk your way out of that. Yes, most of your edits were sourced. A lot of them focused on Jews hating Jesus. I am not of the expertise to say whether those were accurate or not. Certainly there will be some Jews who hate Jesus, just as there is some cathedral architecture making scatological claims about Jews, or about Muhammad (to your credit, you have not shown anti-Islamic sentiment in your edits, but have rather defended that religion to an extent that you were edit-warring against sources) [3]. Those instances in cathedrals don't mean that every Catholic or even many of them believe that nowadays. Your vandalism edit to the Ivor Caplin page makes it incredibly difficult to believe that anything you added about Judaism was in good faith.
