Issues?Send them here (anything article wise) I often read edit summaries and look at back my edits and watchlist so notifying me that you changed my edit here isn't necessary

Hello Fellow Editors, How are you?
[edit]You can add stuff here or add another "topic" JamesEMonroe (talk) 14:07, 1 April 2025 (UTC)
- Hello James :). I'm doing well, what about you? Thank you for your patrolling of recent changes. See you around ;) –The Sophocrat (talk) 04:39, 7 May 2025 (UTC)
- Hello! :D Never actually expected to get a message. I am doing great, just been patrolling when I was bored. I think its really cool that Wikipedia allows for so much freedom, putting creation, editing and moderation into its users hands. I never really realized that until I actually joined Wikipedia. Not completely sure of how the community works or is, but it looks cool. JamesEMonroe (talk) 23:00, 8 May 2025 (UTC)
- I'm glad you like it here. Wikipedia is indeed very cool (⌐■_■)[conflicted source?] and its impressively effective model won me over long ago. I think I know the community and encyclopedia pretty well, so if you have any questions you can ask me or ask at the Teahouse. I understand the deep and seemingly endless structure of Wikipedia can be intimidating; I have traversed it for many years and there's still plenty I don't know. As we contribute we will interact with other members and thus gradually integrate into the community. For example, the other day I received my first barnstar! I was so proud (ᵔᗜᵔ).
- Speaking of things I don't know... I hadn't seen that Twinkle message, lol. Nice find.
- Happy editing! –The Sophocrat (talk) 02:22, 9 May 2025 (UTC)

A cup of hot chocolate for you!

A cup of hot chocolate for you!
HirowoWiki (talk · contribs) has given you a large mug of hot chocolate, for assisting with a very messy article. Hot Chocolate somehow promotes WikiLove and hopefully this has made your day better. Spread the WikiLove by giving someone else a mug of Hot Chocolate, whether it be someone you have had disagreements with in the past or someone putting up with some stick at this time. Enjoy!
Spread the love by giving someone else a nice warm mug of Hot Chocolate ^w^

Might be suggest that you use the template: Don't template the regulars (DTTR)
[edit]Hello, @JamesEMonroe! On your user talk page, place the template {{Don't template me}} at the top. That means you shouldn't have warned this user. Thanks! ^w^ –HirowoWiki (📝) 10:50, 23 May 2025 (UTC)
- Oh hey! Thank you! nice template. I might just use it, but I do worry it might somehow convey to people that I get a lot of warnings or angry like >.> (not saying I think that)
- anyways it is nice to see you again :D

- Okay. See ya! ^w^ –HirowoWiki (📝) 11:44, 23 May 2025 (UTC)
- You are still new and some templates are not that easy to reword so they don't look like the template, eg the WP:3RR template. I wouldn't worry about being templated. And Contentious topics alerts although they are templates are meant to be informative, not warnings. The pages dealing with them (and General Sanctions alerts) say " Alerts are a neutral courtesy; never use them to intimidate, coerce, or shame another editor.".
- You can use Template:Contentious topics/aware at the top of your talk page and list the areas you might be editing. Sometimes people giving alerts don't notice them though. Doug Weller talk 12:24, 23 May 2025 (UTC)

Minor point
[edit]When you are posting to someone's talk page, no need to ping them by adding their username. They will get a notice anyway. Doug Weller talk 14:24, 23 May 2025 (UTC)
