Hello. I am being abused by certain wiki editors. You seem to have a head on your shoulders based on your edits and are unbiased and logical. I am wondering if you have an email to which I can discuss my problems with you directly. Please get back to me — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.114.77.91 (talk) 21:53, 21 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Andy Dingley is removing everything that you agreed was wrong with the categories. Why is he doing this? Why is this happening? Do I have to pay in order to be allowed to edit Wikipedia — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.114.77.91 (talk) 21:57, 21 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I also noticed in your contributions you were discussing my edited and that you agree with 90% but you mistook me for a male. Please do something about the abuse. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.114.77.91 (talk) 22:09, 21 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Hi there. I apologize for misgendering you. I assumed that you were a man since you were grouped as a sock of a user named "Filip". I am not an admin, so I don't have power here, but if you want to make a case for yourself you need to discuss your edits. It's highly suspicious when an IP editor suddenly appears in the range of a known abuser and begins performing mass edits common to that IP, which leads the community to believe that you have already been blocked. Additionally, refusing to defend yourself and then claiming that Wikipedia is corrupt doesn't help your case.
Are these mass edits a retaliation for something? I'd like to understand why you're so keen on changing these categories, it sounds like someone removed a category you added and that made you angry. -Jergling (talk) 23:14, 21 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
My brother and I are Serbo-Croatian. After about a year of sleepless research we founded an abundance of inventions and discoveries from our lands. I would like to credit them but I am having incredible troubles. I am being targeted and reverted for either no reason at all or reasons that all other countries are categorized by. So I decided to clean up the categories and make them accurate. It has been impossible. Such a small thing, 15 or so inventions that comply with the article (yes I have wrongfully added some based on criteria but only due to all of the other countries' templates and outlines. Nobody is able to add sports Category. I started editing about a month ago and have repeatedly been accused of being filipz123 or europfan. They often argue about who I am. It's ridiculous. I've been trying to make a case but I don't know how to work Wikipedia that well. That's why I've been attempting to communicate with veteran admins. So I began to clean the categories to make them all more consistent to how I'm being treated. I ask Andy to give me a civil explanation. He deletes my message and engages in some sort of War. As well as David. Moreno and Sro23, nobody else. I believe that after the 90s my people became forgotten. However, I understand that by Wikipedia standards, based on what I'm seeing, we are abundant in contributions — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.114.76.174 (talk) 03:22, 22 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Andy now maybe, in some way, this human can help me begin to get treated like a human on Wikipedia. I have not vandalized. Maybe only to biased opinions of veteran users. Out of the immense Wikipedia community, there's 4 people abusing their power on my account. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.114.76.174 (talk) 03:36, 22 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I ask again Andy Dingley, Sro23: if you are so keen on category cleanliness, why do you only prevent Croatia and serbia while locking in ridiculous and dubious claims on other countries? You are more set on fighting than editing and cleaning Wikipedia. I comply with everything. I am the last issue on Wikipedia. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.114.76.174 (talk) 03:46, 22 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I just viewed filipz123'a contributions. The only thing similar in our edits is that they are related to Croatia. I edit the entire Balkan. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.114.76.174 (talk) 04:03, 22 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
The place to put forward any claims that you are not Filipz123, or that you are a good-faith editor, is at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Filipz123 - not on user talk: pages. Your behaviour as an IP editor has been so combative already that you would probably justify a block or ban, just for those edits, even if you were not Filipz123.
The reversions are not because WP, or some editors, have an anti-Balkan viewpoint. These are not reversions against facts, or against the Balkans, they are edits against you personally. You are a banned editor here - you are no longer permitted to edit anything, anywhere. That is perhaps a sad thing, but you brought that upon yourself by a long process of disruptive editing. Any removal of such a ban has to begin by you abandoning your edit-warring against other editors!
Your edits are also not ones I would wish to keep. Some might be accurate, but many are incorrect: either careless or deliberately biased. Your repeated removal of Oliver Lodge's work with radio control is just a part of it. Andy Dingley (talk) 11:24, 22 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I have NEVER removed Robert lodge from radio control. I attempted to add radio control to inventions by Tesla and you prevented me. I removed nothing, you can check. Also if it's not anti balkan then how come I wake up to more and more things being removed from serbia and Croatia that have been there for years. All removed by David moreno and backed by you — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.114.52.80 (talk) 11:41, 22 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
IP editor, I understand that you feel these articles don't align with what you believe to be the truth, but I think you need to consider how these changes reflect on you. When you suddenly appear and begin making a huge string of identical edits, that looks like spam/abuse to veteran editors. I almost reported you to the AIV board right away when I saw your contributions page. To participate in Wikipedia, it's important that you remain open for discussion, respond in good faith, and understand that not every edit you make will be accepted by the community. Please try to understand the rules and be civil with other editors. You might want to read WP:DUCK to see why you're being grouped as a sockpuppet.
Because I don't think anything will convince you to stop editing, the best advice that I can give you is to make a real account and build up some credibility. Don't make an account and immediately begin altering categories - go add some reliable and interesting new information to articles in your area of interest, or copyedit an article slated for improvement. Wikipedia stands on a system of credibility and mutual respect, so if you want to be treated as a constructive member of the community, you need to establish both of those things. I expect you'll be rangeblocked soon, and I'd recommend taking a break from Wikipedia to clear your head before coming back. There's a lot of information online that you might disagree with, but just because you can change it doesn't mean you necessarily should. The best edits you can make to Wikipedia are simple, uncontroversial, and human.
Thank you Jergling. You are the only one that gave me a legitimate explanation and useful Advice as well as treated me as a person who made some mistakes but you also understand the situation, instead of treating me like some nasty vandal when I am not. I will break from editing for a while then I will make an account, build credibility and then credit my lovely region for their contributions. Thanks again for being real. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.114.78.2 (talk) 14:26, 22 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I really hope you do this in earnest. Just remember that adding well-sourced information to a page is always appreciated, but deleting others' content rarely is. Cite your sources and I think you'll find the community will be much more welcoming. Jergling (talk) 14:31, 22 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Jergling, I admire your assumptions of good faith when it comes to Filipz123/this IP (and also this discussion does not belong on your talk page, so I am sorry for that). However, you should know this is the same person who made this edit, which I personally find difficult to justify. Sro23 (talk) 14:34, 22 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
As a proud Anglo-Saxon Swine, I find it hard to take issue with that comment.
But seriously, I fully understand that this editor has been exceptionally uncivil. To me, this isn't so much about assuming good faith as it is about quelling a vengeful ghost. We can't stop a determined editor from editing, but we can avoid fueling the sense of persecution that drives them. If this editor makes some solid edits that are well-received, they might see the community in a different light. Jergling (talk) 14:43, 22 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Issuing level 1 warning about removing AfD template from articles before the discussion is complete. (Peachy 2.0 (alpha 8))
For talk page stalkers, this was me reverting a page that was vandalized and then submitted (much later) to AfD. I am involved in this AfD discussion and made a note of my revert. Jergling (talk) 15:27, 20 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Note: All columns in this table are sortable, allowing you to rearrange the table so the articles most interesting to you are shown at the top. All images have mouse-over popups with more information. For more information about the columns and categories, please consult the documentation and please get in touch on SuggestBot's talk page with any questions you might have.
SuggestBot picks articles in a number of ways based on other articles you've edited, including straight text similarity, following wikilinks, and matching your editing patterns against those of other Wikipedians. It tries to recommend only articles that other Wikipedians have marked as needing work. Your contributions make Wikipedia better — thanks for helping.
Thank you very much. I didn't realize there was a COI noticeboard at all! I thought that would all be taken to the RS board. I'm hoping we can expand this discussion beyond just COI into general prohibition of the offending subdomains, as in adding "Blogs, including (offending subdomains of Forbes, Reuters, etc.) may not be used to establish notability." to the official rules/guidelines. -Jergling (talk) 07:40, 20 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
"Needing to cite Ray Kurzweil for anything other than synthesizers is a good sign that your topic is made up. ..." That statement from this discussion made me snort in an un-admin-like fashion. Joyous! | Talk00:31, 29 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
@Joyous!: Heh. Thanks! I'm a big fan of Kurzweil keyboards but not so much their namesake. Also, I inadvertently took a short break from WP and missed your message about TMP. Did the sources disappear with the article? I'm not too worried about the article but I feel bad breaking that promise. -JerglingPC Load Letter17:28, 1 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
