Your username
[edit] Welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that your username, "TheEyeCancerFoundation", may not comply with our username policy. Please note that you may not use a username that represents the name of a company, group, organization, product, service, or website. Examples of usernames that are not allowed include "XYZ Company", "MyWidgetsUSA.com", and "Foobar Museum of Art". However, you are permitted to use a username that contains such a name if it identifies you individually (not your role), such as "Sara Smith at XYZ Company", "Mark at WidgetsUSA", or "FoobarFan87", but not "SEO Manager at XYZ Company".
Please also note that Wikipedia does not allow accounts to be shared by multiple people and that you may not advocate for or promote any company, group, organization, product, service, or website, regardless of your username. Please also read our paid editing policy and our conflict of interest guideline. If you are a single individual and are willing to contribute to Wikipedia in an unbiased manner, please request a change of username by completing the form at Special:GlobalRenameRequest, choosing a username that complies with our username policy. Alternatively, you can just create a new account and use that for editing. If you believe that your username does not violate our policy, please leave a note here explaining why. Thank you. If you intend to make useful contributions instead of promoting your business or organization, you may request unblock and a username change. In your reasons, you must follow all these steps:
- Disclose any compensation you may receive for your contributions in accordance with the paid-contribution disclosure requirement; and
- Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked; and
- Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked; and
- Provide a new username.
To do this, insert the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}}
at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with your new username and replace the text "Your reason here" with your reasons to be unblocked.
Please note that the new username you choose cannot already be taken and in use by another account. You can search to see if the username you'd like to choose is available. If the search returns that no global account with that username exists, that means it is still available.
Appeals: If, after reviewing the guide to appealing blocks, you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal it by adding the text{{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}
at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your reason here" with the reasons you believe the block was an error, and publish the page. Jauerbackdude?/dude. 23:47, 10 May 2025 (UTC)

- Hello, ok understood. Moving forward with the other issue, I'm not sure what is the problem. Was it an edit made? How am I to know which edit was made to cause the blockage?

Again, you need to address, clearly and convincingly, all four points enumerated in the block notice above. This deals with only one, #4. DoubleGrazing (talk) 05:53, 15 May 2025 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
- You edited on behalf of Paul Finger without the prerequisite disclosure of your employment. You might have thought that including it in the edit summary in this edit was sufficient, but that is not visible enough to satisfy Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure policy.
- The content you added was not written from the required neutral point of view. Phrases like "world-renowned", "characterized by innovations and excellence" and "significantly impacted the lives of countless patients worldwide" are subjective and neither impart nor plainly summarize verifiable information.
- Putting links to the subject's own website or website of affiliated works (e.g "For more information, visit: [website]") is considered spamming.
- The subject of a Wikipedia article (nor their representative) does not have any right of ownership or control over the article's content. The subject does not get to tell their life story in the way they would like it told. Wikipedia articles are simply dry, emotionless summaries of what has already been written about the subject in reliable and independent sources. Articles are typically written by independent editors who have no conflict of interest (COI) with the subject, and are therefore free of the inherent bias a COI typically brings.

Blocked for sockpuppetry
[edit]Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted.
If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you should review the guide to appealing blocks, and then appeal your block by adding the following text below this notice:
{{unblock|Your reason here ~~~~}}
. Note that anything you post in your unblock request will be public, so you may alternatively use the Unblock Ticket Request System to submit an appeal if it contains information that must be private.Administrators: Checkusers have access to confidential system logs not accessible by the public or by administrators due to the Wikimedia Foundation's privacy policy. You must not loosen or remove this block, or issue an IP block exemption, without consulting with a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee. Administrators who undo checkuser blocks without permission from a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee may be summarily desysopped.
