There's an RfC on whether the current article is consistent with NPOV and a second RfC on whether to keep the current lead or replace it. LogicalLens (talk) 06:04, 27 February 2025 (UTC)

Article on effects of human migration?
[edit]Hi, I've been thinking, right now there isn't any article that if focused on the overall impact of human migration. The main human migration article covers the topic of migration overall, but I think there might be room for expansion on the topic, enough for a separate article. ★Trekker (talk) 12:14, 26 April 2025 (UTC)

While reviewing math articles, I tripped over the article Uses of trigonometry which seems to be some kind of original research into the history of trigonometry, or the sociology of it, or some history of engineering, or I don't know what. It's certainly terrible as a math article per se, and I'm not sure what to do with it. It could be PRODed and AfD'ed of course, but perhaps it could be turned into a worthwhile article in epistomology or something like that. I'm posting this note in several other wikiprojects, as I'm not sure what else to do with it. 67.198.37.16 (talk) 05:01, 3 May 2025 (UTC)
Input requested on Roseto Effect article
[edit]Hi all — I’ve opened a Request for Comment at Talk:Roseto effect about whether the article’s current framing and sourcing comply with WP:MEDRS and WP:NOTABILITY. The article presents a historically influential case study in social cohesion and cardiovascular health, with modern sourcing to frame its relevance and limitations.
Input from editors familiar with medical or sociological sourcing would be very welcome. Thanks! -- ke4roh (talk) 02:30, 9 May 2025 (UTC)

Is “double bind” the same as “double-bind problem” or should there be an extra article for it?
[edit]The article Collingridge dilemma mentions the term “double-bind problem” in its lede. As it is, the lede spends about as much space on explaining that problem as on explaining the lemma itself. However, that's not the right place for it. A glance on the German Wikipedia shows how it should be done: de:Collingridge-Dilemma refers the explanation to de:Doppelbindungstheorie. (Since that belongs in psychology and communication science, I'm posting the question here.) That article has no English counterpart, which surprises me, because it's a long article. Now, there is an article Double bind, which however in my layperson's view seems to be a different topic. Or are they in fact the same and the article needs to be changed to encompass both uses? ◅ Sebastian Helm 🗨 06:08, 4 June 2025 (UTC)
