A tag has been placed on 2025 Bering Air Cessna 206B disappearance, requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which pages can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly defined criteria, then it may soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:
- It is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. (See section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.
- It appears to be about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), individual animal, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. (See section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) Such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Advice
[edit]Hello Grffffff!
As you may know, I was assigned as your mentor, and you have asked me a few questions before. I would just like to provide some advice based on your contributions.
First, it appears that you may be struggling with citing sources to external websites. A basic way of citing an URL is by inserting it inside reference tags. However, it is preferred that you insert more information about the source on the tags, like the title and author(s). You can check Help:Introduction to referencing with VisualEditor/2 for guidance, since you appear to use the VisualEditor. In order to insert a list of references used on the article, at the end of the page you are creating, you should change the "Paragraph" tab at the top to the big "Heading" text, write "References", press enter, click on "Insert" at the top, then "More", then "References list".
Also, there are many types of infoboxes, like for aircraft occurrences. You can insert one on the VisualEditor by pressing "Insert", then "Template", then type "Infobox aircraft occurrence", then select the top result. There, insert the relevant information and image file names, and press "Insert" when you're done. The infobox can be inserted after you write the article, but place it before the first sentence. If this is a lot to process, you can experiment these features on your personal sandbox here. Alternatively, you can edit the Wikipedia sandbox here, but this page is frequently edited by others.
Lastly, I notice that you frequently create new articles about recent aircraft occurrences and cite breaking news coverage. I very much appreciate the enthusiasm to improve and add content to this encyclopedia. However, it is important to note that Wikipedia is not a newspaper, and while news articles can be valuable sources of information, it is better to wait just a bit and see if the significance of the event is clearer before writing an article about it. See Wikipedia:Notability (events)#Don't rush to create articles. Instead of creating articles, you can expand other articles to add that information. For example, you could have added information on the 2025 Scottsdale Airport collision on the article about Scottsdale Airport on a new subsection about the collision (this has already been done). The article you created was just two sentences long, so it would easily fit on the article about the airport - but if much more information eventually comes in, it could be viable for an article.
From my experience, these types of very short articles with dubious significance are often blanked and redirected to some other article, moved to a draft and left to rot, or nominated for deletion by other editors.
So my overall advice is to understand the essential parts of articles, like referencing and templates, to improve other articles. Until you understand how to appropriately edit them, and how the guideline on event notability works, you should probably not be rushing to create very short articles on recent events with breaking news coverage, and instead add to other existing articles that need updates. Nonetheless, I thank you for your efforts to improve the encyclopedia. Once again, if you need any more help, feel free to ask!

Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Air Panamá Flight 982.

The most common issue in these discussions is notability, but it's not the only aspect that may be discussed; read the nomination and any other comments carefully before you contribute to the discussion. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.
